Phytotron Agro Products (India) Pvt. Ltd. is an R&D-driven agri-biotech company, established in 1988 in Bengaluru with manufacturing at Gauribidanur, Karnataka. We compete on research depth, product quality and pricing that earns its place in a grower's programme.
What we do
Three things, done properly.
Research. A research centre at Yelahanka recognised in 1999 by the Department of Agriculture, Government of Karnataka, as an approved centre for testing micro-fertilisers. Product ideas start from plant physiology: the pH at which GA stays stable, the stage at which cytokinin fixes flower number.
Manufacture. Formulation and packing at Gauribidanur, Karnataka under ISO 9001:2015. Every batch carries its number and date on the label; batch traceability records are provided to our B2B clients.
Advise. Our own field staff service growers directly in Maharashtra and Karnataka. Dealers sell; Phytotron advises.

A new product a year, since 1990.
Founded in Bengaluru by a team of scientist-technocrats. [Incorporation recorded 1989]
PSR, India's first bioregulator to raise sucrose in sugarcane, goes to the Deccan Sugar Research Institute (now VSI), Manjari.
Multi-location PSR trials over 1,160 acres across three sugar-factory plantations, sprayed by helicopter.
Raseek, the fruit ripener, developed and trialled at three agricultural universities.
Vinin, the first gibberellic acid synergist of its kind, enters institutional trials at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University.
Raseek launched. Nimitron, a neem antifeedant, developed.
Vinin launched in two grape-growing districts of Maharashtra. Pilot plant set up at Yelahanka.

Tulip launched: a cytokinin and auxin supplement that addresses size and quality in one product.
Multi-season trials begin at GKVK, Bengaluru, to evaluate the auxin and cytokinin technology.
After two seasons of successful trials, GKVK recommends the technology for size and quality.
Design patent awarded for the homobrassinolide formulation (Glad).
Zillon patent awarded: a first-of-its-kind antiviral for yellow leaf curl and mosaic viruses.
Setall: chelated micronutrients with a stable water-soluble cytokinin in one product, for foliar or soil application, a first in the industry.
Technical-grade water-soluble PGRs become available for commercial purchase.
FY 2026-27 range: 19 products, 57 registered fertiliser line items on Karnataka Form O, new introductions Cordex-P, Buddy-Max and the Cytokin sachet.
