Crop programmes
Read the season the way our field team does.
Each programme is Phytotron's published schedule for the crop: stages on a real scale, the product at each stage, its rate and the reason it is there.
Grapes
October pruning is the only pruning that sells fruit. Flower number is fixed by 30 DAP, fertility by 45, berry cell number by 75, sugar by 100, every decision inside the next 120 days is irreversible.
Pomegranate
The pomegranate programme runs from basal PSR before pruning to the Raseek + Tulip ripening pass 60 days before harvest, with the antifungal pair in four stages after pruning.
Mango
Mango runs on the calendar: basal PSR before monsoon, phosphorus before flowering in June-July, Tulip at flowering in December, and the Raseek + Tulip ripening pass 65-70 days before harvest.
Banana
Banana is a drip crop: four Vinsol P-44 fertigations at 30-day intervals, Zillon at 12-15, 30 and 45 days because banana suffers vector-spread viral disease, and the antifungal pair early.
Tomato · chilli · onion · vegetables
The vegetable programme is short and front-loaded: PSR before planting, three Vinsol P-44 drip doses in the first five weeks, Zillon at 12-15, 30 and 45 days because these crops suffer leaf curl and yellow mosaic, and the disease shield through flowering.
Cotton
Cotton sits in the leaf-curl belt, so Zillon runs from 12-15 days after sowing. The rest of the programme is built from label schedules: Setall for retention and boll set, Winstop against vegetative runaway, Stasis for stress. Field-team sign-off on rates is pending.
Soybean
Soybean is a yellow mosaic virus crop, so Zillon runs from 12-15 days after sowing. The rest is built from label schedules: PSR before sowing, Stasis through vegetative growth, Winstop at flowering. Field-team sign-off on rates is pending.
