Vinin®
Most gibberellic acid in Indian vineyards goes into borewell water at pH 7.5-8.5 and hydrolyses before it reaches the berry. Vinin acidifies the tank to pH 3.5-4, where GA₃ is stable, roughly a 50% saving on GA₃, with longer rachis and looser, export-grade bunches.
Vinin is never an extra spray. It goes into every GA₃ tank, at every dip. Approved by NRC for Grapes, Manjari, Pune; developed by Dr. Ashok Raina; in use in Indian vineyards for 30 years.
Before pruning, Vinin also goes into the Ethrel leaf-drop spray you already use, 8-10 days before pruning (8-10 DBP): 5 ml per litre, which is 2-2.5 L per acre at 400-500 L of water. Hard borewell water pushes that tank above pH 4.5, where Ethrel breaks down faster before it works; Vinin keeps the tank acidic. Mix water, then Vinin, then 0:52:34, then Ethrel, and keep DAP out of this tank. Aim for pH 3.5 or lower and never spray above 4.5. If it still reads above 4.5, do not add more Vinin: use other water and call customer care on +91 95356 68158.
